These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the legistlr website, apps, APIs, and widgets ("legisltr" or the “Service”). Please read these Terms carefully, and contact us if you have any questions. By accessing or using legisltr, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These terms are effective as of February 21, 2019.

Legisltr provides legislative research services, using public access data. We generate reports on state legislators and city councilmembers in select jurisdictions. This data is derived from governmental records, news reports, and other public records. Legisltr uses proprietary methods to combine and display this data in ways that are useful for campaign professionals.

Legisltr provides these Services “as-is” and on an “as-available” basis. legisltr disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. legisltr makes no warranty that the Services will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted.

In Plain English: We do our best to ensure that all information is accurate and up to date, but government information sources are fickle, and there are no guarantees.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless legisltr, its contractors, employees, agents, and the like from and against any all claims and expenses including attorney’s fees, arising out of your use of the Services, including but not limited to violation of this Agreement.

If you wish to terminate this Agreement, you may do so by refraining from further use of our tools and data. In turn, we reserve the right terminate or deny you access to use all or part of the Services at any time for any other reason in our sole discretion.
